Vince is a dance artist who has has performed in over fifty productions in twenty-one countries across six continents. He has extensive experience as a dancer, performer, deviser, creator, harness aerialist, movement collaborator and educator.
2019 saw his first commissioned dance work for non-theatre spaces, Pop, debut at the Edinburgh International Children’s Festival. Pop was recently programmed as part of DanceLive festival 2020 through City Moves dance agency (Aberdeen). Vince also choreographed and co-directed a second piece in France, Home, premiering at the Avignon Festival for the A.S.K. (China) and also led the professional dance development program for Famfest in Chile.
2020 started with an artist in residence post with A.S.K. in Shanghai, January-March, where he delivered workshops across the country and created online creative digital content including the national campaign ‘Wuhan Jai you’ (Wuhan be strong). Vince is currently working on a collaboration with Travelling Light Theatre Company, co-choreographing a new show on the Beijing Acrobatic Troupe via zoom and choreographed the recent ceilidh video with the Nevis Ensemble.
